The Team Feed — Posts, Announcements, and Company Updates

What Is the Team Feed?

The Team Feed is PeerBie’s company-wide activity stream. It’s the place for announcements, team updates, event RSVPs, polls, knowledge sharing, and casual team conversation. Think of it as a combination of a company intranet, a town square, and a team channel — all in one place.

Types of Posts

  • Post — a standard text update, announcement, or share. Can include images, links, and attachments.
  • Event — create a company event with date, time, and location. Team members can RSVP directly from the feed.
  • Poll — ask the team a question and collect votes. Results are shown in real time.

Creating a Post

  1. Click in the “What’s on your mind?” box at the top of the feed.
  2. Type your message. Use @name to mention someone — they’ll receive a notification.
  3. Attach files, images, or links as needed.
  4. Choose whether to post to Everyone or a specific team.
  5. Click Post.

Team Feeds vs Company Feed

The main feed shows company-wide posts. If your workspace has multiple teams, each team also has its own feed visible only to team members. Posts can be shared between team feeds and the company feed.

Pinning Important Posts

Admins can pin posts to the top of the feed so they stay visible. Use this for important announcements, links to key documents, or recurring reminders. Pinned posts are marked with a pin icon.

Lucy and the Feed

Ask Lucy: “What’s been posted in the team feed this week?” for a summary of recent announcements and discussions — useful if you’ve been away or want to catch up quickly.
