Lucy & Email — Connect Gmail or Outlook and Manage Email by Chat

What You Can Ask Lucy to Do With Email
- Check inbox: “Check my email” or “Any important emails today?”
- Read a specific email: “Read the latest email from David.”
- Draft a reply: “Draft a reply to Sarah’s email about the budget — say we’ll have the numbers ready by Thursday.”
- Send an email: “Send an email to the whole team: the all-hands is moved to 3pm Friday.”
- Create a task from an email: “The email from John mentions a deadline — create a task for it.”
- Mark as read: “Mark all emails from the newsletter list as read.”
Privacy and Security
Lucy only reads emails during an active conversation — she doesn’t store your email content. Each email action is confirmed with you before Lucy sends anything.
Disconnecting Your Email
Go to Lucy Settings → Integrations → click Disconnect next to your email provider. Lucy will immediately lose access to your inbox.
Tip: Ask Lucy “Summarize my unread emails” at the start of your day for a 30-second inbox digest instead of reading each email individually.
