Lucy & Meetings — Transcription and Action Items

What Lucy Does in Meetings

Lucy can join your video calls and work in the background to transcribe the conversation, identify key decisions, and automatically create tasks from action items discussed. When the call ends, you get a clean meeting summary delivered straight to your PeerBie inbox.

Starting Meeting Notes

Before or during a call, open Lucy and say:

  • “Start taking meeting notes.”
  • “I’m in a meeting — help me take notes.”

Lucy will begin a meeting session and record key points as the conversation progresses.

During the Meeting

As the call proceeds, you can type quick notes into Lucy and she’ll incorporate them:

  • “Action item: John to send the contract by Wednesday.”
  • “Decision: We’re going with Option B.”
  • “Note: Budget approved for $50k.”

After the Meeting

When you end the session, Lucy produces:

  1. Meeting summary — key points, decisions made
  2. Action items list — each item with the name of who owns it
  3. Task creation — Lucy asks if you’d like to create PeerBie tasks for each action item automatically

The summary is saved to the project and optionally emailed to all attendees.

Tips for Better Meeting Notes

  • Mention people by first name so Lucy can associate action items correctly
  • Say “decision” or “agreed” to flag key conclusions
  • Say “action item” or “AI” before an assignment so Lucy flags it explicitly

Time saver: A 1-hour team meeting typically produces 5–10 tasks. With Lucy, those tasks are in PeerBie with the right assignees before anyone has left the call.
