Pre-Launch Checklist
Before You Launch a Project
Use this checklist before starting any significant new project in PeerBie to make sure it’s set up for success from day one.
Project Setup
- ☐ Project name and description are clear and specific
- ☐ Workflow stages reflect your actual process (not just “To Do / Done”)
- ☐ All team members who need access have been added to the project
- ☐ Each person understands their role and responsibilities
Tasks
- ☐ All known tasks have been created (use Lucy to generate an initial list from your brief)
- ☐ Every task has an assignee and a due date
- ☐ Dependencies between tasks are documented in task descriptions or comments
- ☐ Task priorities are set (don’t make everything Urgent)
Communication
- ☐ Team has been briefed on the project goal
- ☐ Key decisions and context are documented (in task descriptions or the Knowledge Base)
- ☐ Escalation path is clear: who do people contact if they’re blocked?
Lucy Setup
- ☐ Project brief has been shared with Lucy so she can answer questions about it
- ☐ Any relevant documents are in the Knowledge Base
Time investment: A good project setup takes 30–60 minutes upfront and saves hours of confusion and rework. Ask Lucy to help: “Help me set up a project for [brief description].”
