PeerBie for Slack
Keep your goals moving without leaving Slack. Every Monday, the people who own key results get a short direct message from PeerBie and update their numbers with one tap. Lucy, your AI Chief of Staff in PeerBie, can also brief you on your Slack mentions and send Slack messages for you when you ask.
Connect Slack in PeerBieA workspace admin connects Slack once for the whole PeerBie workspace. Weekly check-ins are part of PeerBie Goals & OKRs on the paid PeerBie plans.
Weekly key-result check-ins
Goals slip when nobody updates the numbers. PeerBie asks the right person, at the right time, in the place they already work.
Monday morning
At 09:00 in your workspace’s time zone, each person who reports a key result themselves gets one direct message from the PeerBie app listing their key results with the current value and the target.
One tap to update
Buttons under each key result: +1, +5, Set value… (a small form for the new number, confidence and a note) and a confidence picker. The answer is saved in PeerBie at once, as that person’s own check-in.
Everyone sees it in PeerBie
The goal’s progress, pace and history update in PeerBie for everyone who can see that goal. Nothing is posted to channels.
Lucy and Slack
When Slack is connected, Lucy can include your Slack mentions and direct messages in your daily brief, read a channel you ask about, and send a Slack message you ask her to send. Lucy acts only when you ask, and only with access you can see in Slack yourself.
About AI: Lucy uses AI (Google Gemini) to summarise and draft. Summaries can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything important before you act on it. PeerBie does not use Slack data to train AI models.
Install
- Sign in to PeerBie on the web at my.peerbie.com as a workspace admin.
- Open the workspace Settings menu (the gear) → Integrations, find Slack and choose Connect.
- Slack opens. Pick your Slack workspace, review the permissions and choose Allow.
- You are back in PeerBie and Slack shows as connected. Weekly check-ins start the next Monday for everyone whose PeerBie email matches their Slack email.

For key-result owners
- You get at most one check-in message a week, on Monday, and only if you own a key result that you report yourself.
- Key results measured automatically, for example from linked projects, workflows or a connected tool, are not included: they update on their own.
- Your PeerBie and Slack accounts must use the same email address. No manual matching is needed.
- Prefer PeerBie? You can always check in from the Goals page or by asking Lucy.
Privacy
- Slack tokens are stored encrypted and used only for the features on this page.
- We do not copy your Slack message history into PeerBie. Messages Lucy reads are processed to answer your request; only her answer is kept in your Lucy chat.
- We do not sell Slack data or use it for advertising or to train AI models.

Remove
In PeerBie, a workspace admin opens Settings → Integrations → Slack and chooses Disconnect: the stored Slack tokens are deleted and check-ins stop. You can also remove the PeerBie app in Slack (your Slack workspace’s app management page). Check-ins already saved stay in PeerBie as part of the goal’s history.
Help
Someone did not get a check-in.
Check that they own a key result measured by check-ins in the current period, and that their PeerBie email is the same as their Slack email.
A button says the check-in could not be saved.
The key result may have been closed, moved or reassigned since Monday. Open the goal in PeerBie and check in there.
Does PeerBie post in our channels?
No. Check-ins are direct messages to key-result owners. Lucy sends a message to a channel or person only when you ask her to.
Which plans include it?
Weekly check-ins come with PeerBie Goals & OKRs on the paid PeerBie plans. The Slack side works on every Slack plan, including free.
Does PeerBie use Slack data to train AI?
No. Slack data is used only for the features on this page and is never used to train AI models.
