Lucy & Tasks — Create, Assign, and Track Work by Chat

Managing Tasks Through Lucy

Lucy is the fastest way to create and update tasks in PeerBie. You don’t need to open a project board — just tell Lucy what you need and it’s done.

Creating Tasks

Say or type:

  • “Create a task: Write the Q4 report — assigned to me, due this Friday.”
  • “Add a task to the Marketing project: Design the new landing page — assign to Emma.”
  • “Create 3 tasks: 1) Review contracts, 2) Send invoices, 3) Update CRM — all due end of week.”

Lucy will confirm before creating and ask if she needs more detail.

Checking Task Status

  • “What tasks are overdue?”
  • “What is Alex working on this week?”
  • “Show me all tasks in the Product Launch project that are not started.”
  • “What did the team complete yesterday?”

Updating Tasks

  • “Mark the budget review task as complete.”
  • “Reassign the website redesign task from Tom to Sarah.”
  • “Move the launch checklist task due date to next Monday.”
  • “Add a comment to the API integration task: blocked waiting for credentials.”

The Task Board

While Lucy is great for quick task actions, the visual Workflow Board is better for an overview of all tasks in a project. Open any project and switch between Board view (Kanban columns) and List view (table). Drag cards between columns to update status.

Task Fields

Every task can have:

  • Assignee(s) — one or multiple people
  • Due date — with optional reminders
  • Priority — Low, Medium, High, Urgent
  • Status — customizable per project
  • Attachments — files, images, links
  • Comments — threaded discussion on the task
  • Sub-tasks — break large tasks into smaller steps

Tip: Lucy automatically reminds assignees about approaching due dates and alerts you if a task becomes overdue — you don’t need to manually chase people.
