Hiring an AI Employee — AI Studio Guide

What Is AI Studio?

AI Studio is the PeerBie control panel for AI Employees. From here you hire, configure, and manage your AI team members. Access it from the left sidebar or by asking Lucy: “Open AI Studio.”

Hiring a New AI Employee

  1. Open AI Studio from the left sidebar.
  2. Click Hire AI Employee.
  3. Choose a template (Social Media Manager, Sales Assistant, Content Writer, etc.) or select Custom to build your own.
  4. Give your AI Employee a name and a brief description of their role.
  5. Select the tools and skills they should have — which integrations they can access, what kinds of tasks they can work on.
  6. Click Hire. Your AI Employee appears in the workspace member list.

Connecting Integrations

After hiring, you’ll be prompted to connect the tools your AI Employee needs. Each integration uses OAuth — you’ll see a popup to log into the relevant service and grant permissions. Connected tools include:

  • LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter) — for social media
  • HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive — for CRM
  • Slack — for sending messages
  • GitHub, Linear, Asana, Trello — for engineering/project tools
  • Gmail, Google Calendar — for email and scheduling
  • Notion, Airtable — for knowledge and data
  • And more

Assigning Tasks to Your AI Employee

Once hired, your AI Employee appears in the assignee dropdown in any project. Assign tasks to them just like you would a human. The AI Employee receives the task, reads the description and any attached context, and begins working.

Reviewing and Approving Work

The AI Employee posts its output as a comment on the task. Review it, then:

  • Reply “go ahead” (or “publish”, “send it”, “looks good”) to approve and execute
  • Reply with feedback to have the AI Employee revise
  • Reassign to a human if you decide the task needs human touch

Firing an AI Employee

Go to AI Studio → select the employee → click Remove. They are immediately removed from the workspace and lose access to all integrations. Any in-progress tasks are unassigned.

Tip: Start by assigning simple, well-defined tasks to your AI Employee — a single LinkedIn post, a single contact search. Build confidence in the workflow before assigning complex multi-step work.
