PeerBie for Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your PeerBie work: what is due today, how a project is going, which goals are slipping, what was decided in a meeting. With your permission, it can also create and update tasks, comment, log goal check-ins and save notes, always as you and with your own PeerBie permissions.
https://brain.peerbie.com/mcpWorks with Claude (web, desktop and mobile apps, Claude Code) and ChatGPT (developer mode). It needs a PeerBie account.
What it can do
The connector has 28 tools. Read tools only look. Change tools need you to allow changes when you connect, and Claude and ChatGPT ask you before they use them. Nothing can be deleted through the connector.
| Area | Read | Change (if you allow it) |
|---|---|---|
| Tasks | Your tasks by due date, status or priority; search; one task with its comments | Create a task, change its status, due date or assignee, add a comment |
| Projects | Projects you can see, with progress (open and total tasks, % done) | – |
| Goals & OKRs | Progress, pace and risk of the goals you can see; one goal with its key results | Log a check-in on a key result you update |
| Meeting notes | Your own notes and recordings: summary, key points, action items, optionally the transcript | Save a note to your private notes pad |
| Calendar | Your next 1–14 days from the Google or Outlook calendar connected in PeerBie | – |
| Workflows | Your workflows, items per stage, and how each one starts (form, email, schedule, event) | Start a workflow; make it start by itself when an email arrives, on a schedule or when something happens in PeerBie; pause or resume its automatic starts |
| Lucy routines | What Lucy does by herself for you, when each runs and whether it is on | Set up a routine (a draft reply when certain emails arrive, a weekly summary, a follow-up after every meeting); pause or resume it. Nothing is sent without your tap in PeerBie |
| Feed, people | Search the workspace feed; find colleagues by name | – |
Set up in Claude
Claude Free plans can add one custom connector; Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans can add more.
Pro, Max or Free
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name:
PeerBie. URL:https://brain.peerbie.com/mcp. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty. - Choose Add, then Connect. A PeerBie page opens.
- Sign in to PeerBie, pick the workspace, choose Read only or Read and change, and approve.
- In a chat, open the + menu → Connectors and make sure PeerBie is on.
Team or Enterprise
An Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors with the same URL. Each member then connects their own PeerBie account under Customize → Connectors.
Claude Code
Run claude mcp add --transport http peerbie https://brain.peerbie.com/mcp, then type /mcp and sign in.
Set up in ChatGPT
Until PeerBie appears in the ChatGPT directory, it is added as a custom connector in developer mode. Developer mode is available on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, and with read-only tools on Pro. Workspace admins may need to allow it first.
- Turn on developer mode: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
- In Settings → Apps, choose Create.
- Name:
PeerBie. MCP server URL:https://brain.peerbie.com/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. Leave the client fields empty. - Save. The PeerBie page opens: sign in, pick the workspace, choose the access and approve.
- In a chat, open the tools menu and switch PeerBie on.
Things to ask
- What is overdue for me in PeerBie, and what is due this week?
- How is the Website relaunch project going?
- Which of our goals are at risk this quarter, and why?
- What did we decide in yesterday’s team meeting? List the action items.
- Create a task to send the proposal to Harbor Coffee by Friday.
- Log 9 on the “qualified inbound leads” key result: two came from the new case study.
Privacy & security
- It runs as you. Every request uses your own PeerBie permissions in the workspace you picked. The assistant sees only what you can see in PeerBie.
- One workspace per connection. You choose it on the PeerBie sign-in page; requests for any other workspace are refused.
- Read only, if you want. Without “Read and change” the assistant cannot change anything. There are no delete tools at all.
- Short-lived access. The assistant’s access token works for one hour and only for this connector. A refresh token that is not used for 30 days stops working.
- What we keep. For each request we log the tool, its inputs, the start of the answer and whether it worked, to run the service securely. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, and we do not use this data to train AI models.
- Your assistant’s terms apply to what it receives. Answers sent to Claude or ChatGPT are handled under Anthropic’s or OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy.
Full details: PeerBie Privacy Policy, section “Connecting AI assistants”.
Disconnect
In PeerBie, open Settings (from your profile menu) → Connected apps and choose Disconnect next to Claude or ChatGPT. Every token of that connection stops working within a minute. Removing the connector inside Claude or ChatGPT only removes it on their side. To change the workspace or the access, disconnect and connect again.
Help
Which plan do I need?
Any PeerBie account can connect. What you can read is what your plan and role let you see in PeerBie, for example goals are part of the paid PeerBie plans. On the assistant side, see the Claude and ChatGPT plan notes above.
Claude says it couldn’t reach the server or asks me to sign in again.
Choose Connect again and sign in. If you disconnected in PeerBie, changed your password or signed out of all devices, the old connection no longer works by design.
The assistant says it may only read PeerBie.
You connected with “Read only”. Disconnect under Settings → Connected apps, connect again and choose “Read and change”.
Can the assistant see other people’s private tasks or goals?
No. It uses your own permissions, so it sees exactly what you see in the PeerBie apps, in the one workspace you picked.
Does PeerBie use this data to train AI?
No. PeerBie does not use the data from connector requests to train AI models, and it does not receive your conversations with Claude or ChatGPT.
